Support for start-ups and research projects, especially in the fields of technology and digitalisation, continues to be active in Latvia. HR Line EU not only provides support to entrepreneurs, but also keeps them informed about current opportunities. Here are two programmes to consider.


1. Free pre-acceleration programme from Startup House Riga

If you have a startup idea or want to join a team, apply for the free 18-week pre-acceleration programme Startup House Riga.

The programme consists of:

– 6 weeks of training and team building;

– 12 weeks of idea development and testing with experienced mentors.

Applications are open until 29 April 2025, free of charge.

2. IT research funding from the IT Competence Centre

IT companies and research organisations can receive funding of up to €2 million for new research projects.

Supported topics:

– business process analysis technologies

– natural language processing technologies

Applications are open until 19 May 2025, consortia can also participate.
