Are you looking for funding for a project in education, digitisation or sustainability? The MFA Project Call is an opportunity to implement an international initiative with a real impact.
Every year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia launches a development cooperation project competition to strengthen cooperation with partner countries. The aim of the competition is to support projects that promote sustainable development, digital transformation, modernisation of public administration, human capital development, gender equality, rule of law, education, migration and climate resilience.
Funding is allocated to projects that contribute to the development of priority sectors in partner countries. In particular, initiatives related to training professionals, digitisation, innovation and the involvement of women and young people in social and economic development are supported. The call is open to individuals and to organisations from partner countries.
Non-governmental organisations, state and municipal institutions, educational institutions and other legal entities registered in Latvia can apply.
The latest information on the 2025 call, rules and priorities is available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
Organisations working in the international field are invited to keep up to date with the competition and plan their participation early. It is not only a source of funding, but also a way to expand cooperation, demonstrate expertise and support global development.
